This article is a study of the concept of paradigms in the social sciences, a brief recounting of the same in the history of drugs and the issue that is its present relationship in the field of education. Based on workshops with directors, teachers and students, an effort was made to construct interrogations on what is current regarding gambling addictions, digital consumption and online games and also their role in schools and place in the adult world. In a pandemic and post-pandemic context, the article attempts to try and relate the place of school and the possibilities of action herein from
the political and cultural scenario of our country in recent years.
