It is expected that the Information System ́s (IS) effectiveness in organizations will result in benefits not only organizational but also for the users who operate it. The present research aims to measure the individual and organizational impact that users perceive of information systems in SMEs in Entre Rios, Argentina. To achieve this objective, the Gable instrument was adapted (Gable, Sedera and Chan, 2008), which arises from the revision of the model proposed before Delone and McLean (2003). The proposed adaptation of the instrument was subjected to expert inspection in order to obtain evidence of content validity. The current version consists of 45 items that evaluate each dimension of the selected model: (a) Individual Impact, (b) Organizational Impact, (c) Information Quality and (d) IS Quality. Likewise, sociodemographic variables of interest were considered. The instrument intends to be applied to users of companies that have IS and that could identify needs for improvement to increase the effectiveness of their business and, consequently, benefit the organizational community.
