Abstract

This article is a novel presentation of workefare policies. Since the workfarist turn, social policies acquired  new characteristics tending  towards  subordination to the logic of the Marketplace which is to say they became  subject to the reproduction of capital. To this end, a geographic perspective is taken from  severa! studies examining  new configurations of social policies in the current framework restructuring the capitalist  system.
