THE PSYCHOLOGIST, AT WORK WITH YOUTH IN CONFLICT WITH THE PENAL LAW

Abstract

This article deals with the course of the different normatives that were set up and oversee the field of action of the forensic psychologist in the Province of Entre Rios in relation with her/his work amongst youth in conflict with the penal law. The psychologist, bases her/his practices on the Law when working with the regional code of laws for juveniles as well as in the complementary facilities of the Provincial Council for the Child, Adolescent and Fami- ly - Consejo Provincial del Niño, el Adolescente y la Familia -(hereafter referred to as COPNAF), which is an organism overseeing the application of the present Integral Childhood Protection Laws. With regard to different laws and, above all in the procedure of Entre Rios, there are changes in the work of these Mental Health professionals; changes that will have an effect on the subjectivity of our youth. Thus, the importance of their diffusion, amplifying previous studies published by the author.
