Abstract

When talking about forgiveness, it always seems to be the religious thing that decides the insoluble nature of its act, in a direction that points to the elimination of the conflict. But forgiving crimes against humanity, in which perversion governs under an immoral legality that supports it, cannot fall into a simplified asymmetry of forgiver and forgiven. The ineffable horror, as a consequence of genocides and totalitarian excesses, is a topic of continued debate
when it comes to a supposed pacification that manages to turn the page of that history.
