The present work is a case study resulting from an intervention through physical exercise performed by an inter-disciplinary team with the participation of Physical Education Teaching students in a male patient, 78 years old, who suffered a stroke . The objectives that were proposed were to contribute to improve joint mobility and increase independence in the performance of daily activities. The data collection instruments used were the goniometry registers and the Barthel index. During 5 months three weekly meetings of one hour duration were held in which different leisure-recreational activities were carried out that included exercises of global mobility of the extremities and manipulation of objects. The results obtained showed increases of different value in the amplitude of the movements of each of the joints studied and evidence of improvement in the performance of daily activities independently.
