This article is part of a broader research that studies the discursive positions of adolescents living in contexts of social expulsion regarding the future, conducted in 2016-2017 in the city of Santa Elena, province of Entre Ríos. This is qualitative psychoanalytic research with contributions from Social Psychology and Vocational Guidance. Techniques of open interview and incomplete sen-
tence techniques were used. As regards the analysis of the information, the constant comparative method and the analysis of significant sentences were applied on a sample of six adolescents. The main objective of this work is the analysis of the discursive positions that allow adolescents, immersed in contexts of social expulsion, to (introject) represent the future in terms of a possible future in 25 de Mayo neighbourhood of the city of Santa Elena. The conclusions reached show that discursive positions enunciate the interrelation between subjectivity and social context, and that adolescents living in contexts of social expulsion represent the future in terms of a possible future.
